I can’t wait to go back to the comfortable and the familiar. I don’t regret my decision to come to graduate school so far away from home… but I don’t think people realize how difficult it is, emotionally. You grow up so much, but that doesn’t mean growing up doesn’t hurt.
I miss my Hawaii.

As homesick and as difficult as it’s been adjusting to this new chapter of my life, I don’t regret my decision on pursuing my degree.
My heart and soul is back in Hawaii. I miss my family, friends, and boyfriend ever so dearly… It hurts. But, I need to be strong.

It’s funny how distance makes things clearer. This time away from home has made me appreciate everything I have.
